The sealing of the cross roller slewing bearing without teeth is mainly to prevent the filled grease from leaking out, and also to prevent external dust, impurities and moisture from entering the inside of the bearing and affecting the normal operation of the bearing.
Since most of the slewing bearings work under heavy loads and low speeds, the sealing form of the bearings adopts two structures: rubber seal ring seal and labyrinth seal. The rubber sealing ring itself has a simple structure, small space occupation and reliable sealing performance. The disadvantage is that it is prone to early aging under high temperature conditions and loss of airtightness. Therefore, under high temperature conditions, the slewing bearing should adopt a labyrinth seal. In addition, the material of the sealing ring under high temperature is high temperature resistant fluoro rubber.
