Installation of excavator slewing bearing

1. Before the installation of the rotary table bearing, the installation surface of the host machine should be checked. The supporting parts should have sufficient strength, the connecting surface should be machined, and the surface should be flat without sundries and burrs. For those that cannot be machined to achieve the required flatness, special plastics with high injection strength can be used as fillers to ensure the accuracy of the installation plane and to reduce vibration

2. When installing the single row ball slewing bearing, carry out radial positioning first, tighten the mounting bolts crosswise, and check the rotation of the bearing. There shall be sufficient preload when tightening bolts, and the preload shall be 70% of the yield limit of bolt material.

3. The collar of the rotary table bearing has a quenched soft belt area, which is marked with "S" on the end face of the collar. During installation, the soft belt should be placed in the non-load area or non-frequent load area
